KlementRecent College of Education doctoral graduate and recipient of the Higher Education program's Distinguished Alumni Award, Emily Klement ('92, '94 M.Ed., '12 Ed.D.), was instrumental in establishing a new educational program at the Bowie and Graham Campuses of North Central Texas College (NCTC). The Petroleum Production Technology Program teaches students about oil drilling, processing and work safety needed for careers in the growing industry.

"This program has impacted so many students and their futures," said Klement. "We also have about 10 countries represented in the student group. People are moving to Bowie and Graham from California, Utah, etc. and finding fantastic jobs after their degree completion."
