Undergraduate Programs
The Department of Teacher Education and Administration offers a bachelor's degree in interdisciplinary studies — a program intended to lead to teaching certification in Texas. The College of Education offers prospective teachers a well-designed program that is nationally accredited by the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation. It provides multiple opportunities for field experience in public schools through a collaborative Professional Development School model and an option to become certified for ESL or bilingual education along with a grade-level and/or content-area focus.
