Amy Tannehill is a certified Texas Educator and alumni of the UNT College of Education. She taught middle and high school English Language Arts and Reading before returning to the College of Education as an advisor in the summer of 2002. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies and is certified to teach Grades 1-8. Initially hired to work with graduate students for initial and professional teacher certifications, she transitioned into being both a graduate and undergraduate advisor and presenter/contributor for the freshman orientation Guidebook. She enjoys working with college students and helping them better navigate their college careers. Amy has worked on the New Student Advising Guidebook committee and has been published within. She also served two terms in the Staff Senate and two terms as a member of the Pohl Recreation Center Advisory Committee.
