Technology and Security in Education Conference

17th Biennial Conference of the Society for Philosophy & Technology


From May 26-29, 2011, the University of North Texas will host the 17th international conference of the Society for Philosophy and Technology. The conference theme is "Technology and Security," but papers reflecting on any aspect of technology are welcomed. We especially welcome interdisciplinary submissions from those studying technology in all fields across the UNT campus - including engineering, art, business, social sciences, natural sciences, education, the humanities, and more. The keynote speaker is P.W. Singer, Senior Fellow and Director of the 21st Century Defense Initiative at the Brookings Institution and author of Wired for War: The Robotics Revolution and 21st Century Combat.
