Summer message from Dean Jerry Thomas

ThomasWhat a busy and productive summer we have had!

From our summer camp for future bilingual educators to our conferences on autism, play therapy and campus violence, we have been engaging with our students and our community like never before. We’ve had the opportunity to host veteran bilingual/ESL teachers, nationally recognized autism researchers and practitioners, mental health professionals from across the country and leading authorities on higher education legal issues.

Our summer courses are winding down and many of our students will soon walk the stage at summer commencement. College of Education faculty, students and alumni continue to make us proud with their exciting awards and achievements.

You can make a difference in our students' lives by donating to scholarships or any of our programs, centers or clinics. Visit to give today.

I hope you enjoy the rest of your summer and want to thank you for your support of UNT’s College of Education!
