The Department of Educational Psychology offers several non-degree and certification programs to further your life and career goals.

Graduate Academic Certificate - Autism Intervention

This program is designed to professionally prepare leaders and educators with core values that exemplify excellence, integrity, collaboration and impact in the field of autism.

Graduate Academic Certificate - Behavioral Specialist (Admission suspended until further notice)

This program is for students who have completed the master's program in the area of emotional/behavioral disorders and who desire to provide service to students with behavioral issues.

Educational Diagnostician Certification

This is a certification program for students with a master's degree who want to be employed as an Educational Diagnostician or for teachers interested in assessment issues.

Graduate Academic Certificate - Gifted and Talented Education

This program prepares students to sit for the Texas examination for supplemental certification in gifted education.

Graduate Academic Certificate - Alternative Certification in Special Education (IMPACT)

The Instructional Model to Prepare Adept Certified Teachers in Special Education (IMPACT) program is a one-to-two-year path to special education certification. IMPACT is designed to meet the demands of academic rigor and ongoing mentor support for you in a field that is rapidly changing.
