I received my MBA and BS in Agribusiness and Accounting from Tarleton State University in Stephenville, TX.  I began my university career working as a student at Tarleton and progressed to graduate assistant.  My background includes working in Student Publications and Career Services.  I greatly enjoy working with university students and assisting them with their educational and professional goals. Living in the “city” is a change for me.  It is nice having everything so close, but the traffic and constant noise drives me crazy.  I was born and raised in Central Texas, grew up on a farm in the country, and went to school in a really small town.  One day I hope to return to living in the country where I can once again have a farm full of animals and have the peace and quiet that only country living can provide.

My B.B.A. degree from UNT has served me well as I taught high school business computer classes and early in my career worked at UNT as an Assistant Registrar.  Upon my retirement from Denton High School, I sought employment again (on a part-time) basis at UNT.  My husband John (a retired physical therapist) and I have two grown children and 5 grandchildren.  I enjoy reading, traveling, Bible Study Fellowship, and playing with my 5 grandchildren
