Sessions will be scheduled strategically throughout the year (before early registration, after grades post, etc.) and are designed for students who are interested in education but whose major is in a college other than the College of Education at UNT.

We will cover the following information:

  • Teacher certification options at UNT
  • Admission to teacher education requirements
  • Sequence of education courses
  • Field experience
  • TK20
  • State Certification exams
  • Graduation vs. certification
  • Applying for the certificate

At the meeting, we will be accepting admission applications for expedited processing.

We welcome anyone who wants to learn about undergraduate secondary/all-level certification at UNT.
