Students transferring from another Texas educator certification program to UNT:

Students who started a educator certification program elsewhere in Texas, but want to enter one of the UNT certification programs must complete this transfer form for the State. Students download the form, complete the top portion, have their former educator preparation program complete the middle portion, and bring the completed form to our SAO/TAO offices who will complete the bottom portion and send the form to SBEC/TEA.

This form must be filed before a student can complete the UNT certification admissions process.

NOTE: All students transferring to UNT for certification from any Texas University or ACP program must complete this form for admission to the College and to our certification programs.

(Graduation) Degree Application:

Students must file a degree application during the application period for the semester they wish to graduate. Applications are obtained from the Registrar's office and submitted to the Student Advising Office. Application deadlines are posted in the catalog, schedule of classes, and Registrar's website.
