Sandra and Richard Magers Endowed Scholarship

Purpose: Established in honor of Richard Magers and intended for full-time undergraduate students in the Department of Teacher Education and Administration.


  1. Meet the minimum entrance and continuing academic performance standards of the College of Education in effect at the time of any award.
  2. Maintain full-time enrollment at the University, unless they have fewer than twice the number of semester hours required to be full-time remaining in their degree program;
  3. Maintain a 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale;
  4. Enroll as a full-time student seeking teacher certification in secondary education at the University; in the event no applicant possesses this characteristic, then students enrolling full-time in the College of Education will be eligible for consideration.
