Purpose: To provide scholarships for undergraduate and graduate Recreation and Leisure Studies students at the University.

Requirements:

1. Meet the minimum entrance and continuing academic performance standards of the University of North Texas and College of Education in effect at the time of any award;
2. Be an undergraduate or graduate major in the Recreation and Leisure Studies program or its successor;
3. Maintain full time enrollment at the University;
4. Have a focus in Therapeutic Recreation;
   
5. Have at least two (2) semesters remaining in the program.

Note:

Undergraduate applicants must have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher with a Recreation and Leisure Studies GPA of 2.75 or greater.

Graduate applicants must a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher, and a Recreation and Leisure Studies GPA of 3.0 or higher, or if a new student, a GPA higher than 2.75.
