Garry Landreth Center for Play Therapy Scholarship

Purpose: A fund established by Dr. Landreth, the founder of the Center for Play Therapy, the largest play therapy training program in the country; Director Emeritus of the Association for Play Therapy; recipient of the Association for Play Therapy Lifetime Achievement Award and Research Award; and internationally known for his work in promoting the development of child-centered play therapy.

Requirements:

  1. Meet the minimum entrance and continuing academic performances standards of the College of Education Department of Counseling and Higher Education (or its successor) in effect at the time of any award:
  2. Maintain full time enrollment at the University, unless they have fewer than twice the number of semester hours required to be full time remaining in their degree program;
  3. Enroll as a graduate student specializing in Play Therapy at the University.
