Dr. M. Jean Greenlaw Scholarship in Reading Education

Purpose: Established in honor of Dr. M. Jean Greenlaw, former UNT faculty member, and intended for doctoral students in the Department of Teacher Education and Administration (or its successor) who are majoring in Reading Education.

Requirements:

  1. Meet the minimum entrance and continuing academic performance standards of the department of Teacher Education and Administration in effect at the time of any award.
  2. Maintain full-time enrollment at the University, unless they have fewer than twice the number of semester hours required to be full-time remaining in their degree program.
  3. Enroll as a Doctoral student in Reading Education at the University; in the event no applicant possesses this characteristic, then students enrolling full-time in Teacher Education and Administration (or its successor) at the University will be eligible for consideration.
Note: This scholarship may continue to be awarded to a previous recipient on an annual basis in successive years if the recipient reapplies for this scholarship and continues to meet the eligibility requirements outlined above.
