Purpose: To provide scholarships for undergraduate Recreation and Leisure Studies students at the University.

Requirements:

1. Meet the minimum entrance and continuing academic performance standards of the University of North Texas and College of Education in effect at the time of any award;
2. Be an undergraduate major in the Recreation and Leisure Studies program;
3. Have sophomore, junior or senior status according to UNT;
4. be a current member of the Recreation and Leisure Studies Society or its successor.

The applicant should demonstrate evidence of active service in school or community organizations - write about this in the essay part of the application.
