Purpose: Established by Ben C. Bryson for undergraduate and graduate students aspiring to be teachers with an interest in Secondary Education.

Requirements:

1. Meet the minimum entrance and continuing academic performance standards of the College of Education Deparment of Teacher Education and Administration in effect at the time of any award.
2. Maintain full time enrollment at the University, unless they have fewer than twice the number of semester hours required to be full time remaining in their degree program.
3. Maintain a 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale.
4. Enroll as a full-time student in secondary education or an advanced student whose background and interests are in secondary education at the University. In the event no applicant possesses this characteristic, then students enrolling full-time in Teacher Education and Administration at the University will be eligible for consideration.
