Teacher Education Accreditation

UNT Educator Preparation Programs are accredited by the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP) and the Texas Education Agency (TEA). Through the process of accreditation, the whole institution is examined to determine how well the parts work together to enhance student learning.

Since July 1st, 2013, NCATE has been merged into CAEP as the new accrediting body for educator preparation. Please visit http://caepnet.org for more information.
