About Project TELL

The Department of Educational Psychology is proud to announce the receipt of a five year federal grant, beginning Summer 2012. The grant has been awarded through the Office of Special Education programs (OSEP) and will include tuition scholarship and a monthly stipend for 12 part-time doctoral students. The goal of the grant is to prepare leadership personnel in special education who are well qualified for and can effectively carry out leadership of local and state agencies, as well as school programs and districts in high-needs areas. The five-year doctoral program will include 75 hours of coursework as well as 6 competency requirements to ensure each student receives comprehensive, quality training in research-based practices in the field of special education.
