Admission Requirements
Students must meet these minimum requirements for admission to Online Teacher Education:

1) Pass the appropriate PACT TExES exam. You will take either Exam #115: Mathematics 4-8 or Exam #116: Science 4-8. For more information on how to register for the exam, visit http://texes.ets.org/epp/epppact/. For more information on the Highly Qualified rule, click here. 2) A 2.8 overall Grade Point Average on the undergraduate degree OR a 3.0 Grade Point Average on the last 60 hours of the undergraduate degree is required for admission. Students must continue to meet the requirements of the Toulouse Graduate School in order to remain in the program. 3) Students applying to Teacher Education are required to complete the admission questionnaire on the College of Education’s Tk20 website. For directions complete the admission questionnaire online please visit: http://tiny.cc/untinterview. 4) The University of North Texas Teacher Education Program will require an application and application fee, official transcripts, a 2.8 overall Grade Point Average OR 3.0 Grade Point Average on the last 60 hours of undergraduate coursework, and an official copy of the score report for ONE of the following (scores listed are minimum scores):

1) Documentation of at least 24 semester credit hours in a Texas approved teaching field (12 must be upper level) must be provided and accepted by the secondary online graduate certification program coordinator.
