College of Education faculty to be recognized at award ceremony

Several College of Education faculty members will be recognized at the April 25 Salute to Faculty Excellence Dinner and Award Ceremony including retiring professor Dr. Jan Holden, who will receive the UNT Foundation Eminent Faculty Award.

Other to be recognized at the event include Dr. Karen Weiller, who will receive the UNT Foundation Faculty Leadership Award; Dr. Brian McFarlin, UNT Teacher-Scholar award; Dr. Jeannette Ginther, ‘Fessor Graham Award; Dr. Nancy Neldon, Citation for Distinguished International Service Award; Dr. Rossana Boyd, 2018 Quest for Quality Exemplary Faculty Practices; and Dr. Darrell Hull, Fulbright Scholarship.

Holden will receive the Eminent Faculty Award, which recognizes a faculty member who has made outstanding and sustained contributions to scholarly-creative activity, teaching, and service. The Eminent Faculty Award is one of the highest faculty achievements, and its recipient serves as an inspiration for the entire UNT community.
