ORC Brown Bag Series - R Tutorial

Date:
Thursday, January 26, 2017 - 5:00pm to 6:00pm

Matthews Hall 308

The Office of Research Consulting presents a Brown Bag Series workshop: R Tutorial, introducing students to the R environment for statistical computing.

R is a free statistics package that can be used to conduct standard analyses (e.g., descriptives, regression, ANOVA, etc.), simulations, and to create publication quality plots. We introduce R and how to use it for those who have zero experience but a desire to learn.

The ORC Brown Bag Series is a series of four sessions aimed at providing our audience with information on a variety of important topics for graduate students’ academic success. We have prepared these topics in the hopes that graduate students from all departments across campus will benefit and learn something new!
