I graduated from UNT in August 2003 with a double major in Finance and Logistics.  I moved to Denton in 1996 and have had the opportunity to work for several departments here at UNT:  Police and Traffic, Registrar’s Office, and Center for Distributed Learning.  I joined the College of Education Student Advising Office in October 2003, and am pleased to have the opportunity to give back to the UNT community. In my spare time I enjoy participating in several sports.  I play tennis on occasion, and have played Denton City League Baseball since October 2001.  I am also at every UNT football game, and an occasional basketball game.  I enjoy traveling, and have had the opportunity to visit most of the US and Europe, as well as the Middle East and West Africa.

Greetings and salutations to all the Mean Green faithful.  It is really a  pleasure to be back in Denton having returned from the University of Kansas with my Bachelor Degree in History.  Working in the College of Education fits me well since I have five years experience as a teacher and coach in the Texas public school system. On a more personal level I am an avid college football and basketball fan, "Rock Chalk Jayhawk" and "Go Mean Green".  I love the outdoors particularly river rafting and fishing or just camping out in New Mexico.

I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from UNT in May of 2008 and joined the COE Student Advising Office in February of 2013.

I enjoy spending time outside: hiking, camping, and cheering on the Texas Rangers & FC Dallas. When not scoring home runs for my softball and kickball recreational teams – I like to read, paint and travel with loved ones.

This Oklahoma girl became an “Honorary Texan” in 2014, after receiving a B.S. in Kinesiology in 2012 from Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, OK.  Having working in higher ed. since 2011, I joined the MEAN GREEN family in 2014 and moved to the COE-SAO to be an academic advisor in January 2015. Continuing my education, I am pursuing a M.S. Kinesiology with emphasis in Psychosocial Aspects of Sport and Exercise, here at UNT.

During my internship with the NSU football team, I met my amazing husband. So the saying “Faith, Family, & Football” is really the best way to describe my life!  Outside of advising, I love being a mom to a beautiful little girl, spending time with my family, traveling, crafting, strength training, and being an avid sports enthusiast. I love watching the MEAN GREEN, the Cowboys, the Texas Rangers, the Stars and my native state’s OKC Thunder!
