"With the new CDC report of the 1 in 50 prevalence in autism, it's a sobering and important time to recognize World Autism Awareness Day and learn about where to go in our community for help. The UNT Kristin Farmer Autism Center, opened last year on the University of North Texas campus in Denton, with the goal of becoming a resource for comprehensive autism spectrum disorders treatment, research and support.

We asked Dr. Kevin Callahan, PhD, executive director of the center, his thoughts about the new CDC report."
