UNT Phi Kappa Phi awarded grant for President's E.D.G.E. computer literacy efforts

The University of North Texas Chapter of Phi Kappa Phi was recently awarded a $2,000 grant from the national Phi Kappa Phi organization for their support of the President's EDGE program. The One University/One Community Computer Literacy Initiative will help provide one-on-one tutoring, computer guides, software and flash drives. It seeks to improve the computer literacy skills of more than 200+ University of North Texas employees who lack a high school diploma and are participating in the President’s Employee Directed General Education (E.D.G.E.) Program in pursuit of a high school equivalency diploma, or GED.
