UNT to host Educational Leadership Conference November 14

The Educational Leadership Conference hosted by the University of North Texas is an academic convention geared toward promoting the partnership between Texas school districts and colleges to strengthen the educational partnership.

Prominent keynote speakers Phil Schlechty and Dr. Mike Moses, along with renowned researchers and educational practitioners, will share the latest research that will enhance leadership at all levels. Dr. Johnny Veselka, the Executive Director of the Texas Association of School Administrators (TASA), will provide the latest legislative updates from the state.

Conducted at the Gateway Center on the University of North Texas Denton campus on November 14, 2012, this one-day conference provides educational leaders an opportunity for professional development, networking, and insight into current educational research and reform as we enter a new era of accountability. The goal of this conference is to discuss the difficulties related to leadership and illuminate a new vision for Texas schools. The conference will assist participants to develop a fuller understanding of the importance of educational reform and accountability.
