Kinesiology provides a scientific understanding of human movement with academic emphasis on the disciplinary, professional and activity dimensions of biological and behavioral components of movement, exercise and sport.
Health Promotion prepares students for a variety of careers in the public and private sectors and in teaching. The major goal of this program is the promotion of human health.
Recreation and Leisure Studies courses emphasize human development, communication studies, the study of leisure, and how to plan, design, lead, and evaluate recreation and leisure programs.
Undergraduate admissions are handled directly through University of North Texas Admissions.
