Kinesiology provides a scientific understanding of human movement with academic emphasis on the disciplinary, professional and activity dimensions of biological and behavioral components of movement, exercise and sport.

Recreation and Leisure Studies courses emphasize human development, communication studies, the study of leisure, and how to plan, design, lead, and evaluate recreation and leisure programs.
