Teacher Certification

The Department of Kinesiology, Health Promotion, and Recreation offers a teacher certification program. Standard all-level certificates in physical education (kinesiology) are offered at the bachelor's level. This certification allows the student to be a teacher in the public schools of Texas. Recreation Management

A professional development certificate for those who already have a Bachelor’s degree in any field and some experience in Recreation and Leisure Services, and who want to focus on Recreation Management at the graduate level.
