Dog Eared Resources: This site provides teachers with classroom ideas based on children's literature and that revolve around global themes. They also provide modification ideas/strategies for GT, ESL, and children with learning differences.

The largest comprehensive gifted resource page in the world, for both parents and educators, covering topics including identification, characteristics of gifted, testing and measurement, twice exceptional gifted, highly gifted, and lots more. There are tons of annotated links, mixed with original articles by both parents and professions, on subjects related to educating gifted children, plus references to books on the various aspects of raising and educating gifted children. The Texas Association for the Gifted and Talented is the largest advocacy group for gifted children in the world. TAGT has a major conference each fall, provides excellent publications and services, and offers teacher, school, and student scholarships/grants.
The National Association for the Gifted and Talented is the premier gifted organization in the world. Its journal is excellent and through their advocacy much needed funding and research has been obtained at the national level.
