The College of Education's General Access Computer Lab incorporates two rooms. The main lab area (the larger of the two rooms) is reserved for individual work and restricts students from talking. The smaller of the two rooms is set aside for team or project activities. Students may talk and collaborate on projects.

Both areas of the lab do have one important restriction: No Talking On Mobile Phones.

The Team room provides an area where the Lab Manager can provide additional services to UNT students. These services include:

• Team collaboration activities
• An area where students can work who need to bring their small children to campus
• An area where faculty needing occasional computer use, such as a statistics course, can meet during the evening (requires special arrangement with the lab manager, Dr. Andrews)
• An area where the Registrar's Office staff may schedule time to help new and transfer students complete the course registration process as part of New Student and Transfer Student Orientation (requires special arrangement with the lab manager, Dr. Andrews)
