Thank you for your interest in Project DART! This Federal Grant allows us to admit up to 25 students each Fall semester who are currently teaching or will be teaching in a rural school district or educational program in Texas. You may apply for either the Master’s Degree Program in Autism Intervention or the Graduate Academic Certificate (GAC) in Autism Intervention. For detailed course information, please e-mail debbie.farr@unt.edu or access it on our website at www.coe.unt.edu/educational-psychology/autism . The Master’s degree program requires no less than 36 hours (12 courses) and the GAC requires 18 hours (6 courses). Successful applicants will be required to take two courses per semester, including summers, in order to be funded through the grant. Some adjustments can be made in course scheduling for extenuating circumstances. For those students accepted into the program, signed agreement forms will be required.
