A fund in honor of John D. and Frankie E. Montgomery and to provide scholarships for undergraduate students in special education at the University.

Requirements:

1. Meet the minimum entrance and continuing academic performance standards of the College of Education Department of Educational Psychology in effect at the time of any award;
2. Maintain full time enrollment at the University, unless they have fewer than twice the number of semester hours required to be full time remaining in their degree program;
3. Enroll as a full-time student pursuing studies in special education at the University; in the event no applicant possesses this characteristic, then students enrolling full-time in teacher education at the University will be eligible for consideration;
4. Preference shall be given to the current recipient of the scholarships for up to total of four consecutive years as long as they meet the requirements (6.a. - 6.c.)  specified above.
