Project DART
The University of North Texas (UNT) offers a certificate program for graduate credit in Autism.The coursework is graduate-level and totals 18 hours (six courses). Admission into the Graduate Academic Certificate (GAC) program requires acceptance into the UNT Toulouse School of Graduate Studies, as well as acceptance by the Department of Educational Psychology’s Autism Intervention Program.All coursework must be completed within four years of the date of the first course. No credit applied to a previously awarded master’s or doctoral program can be applied toward this GAC. All courses are offered online for Project DART students.

ADMISSION PROCESS:
- Apply to Toulouse School of Graduate Studies at www.applytexas.org.
- Complete all application forms at http://www.coe.unt.edu/educational-psychology/autism by clicking on link for Project DART.
- All students receiving federal funding through Project DART will be required to fulfill service obligations. For more information, please refer to the Project DART Service Obligation and Repayment Requirements Agreement.
- Additional regulations and processes governing the completion of a graduate degree at UNT (e.g., transfer of credits, registration) are stated in the Graduate Catalog. NOTE: A student who is non-degree seeking or certification seeking only must be aware that a maximum of 12 semester hours earned prior to admission to a degree program may be counted toward degree requirements should they later decide to seek a Master’s Degree.
