The Department of Counseling and Higher Education offers an undergraduate minor in Counseling. The interpersonal skills gained in this program may be applied to a variety of employment settings that span professions in education, business, and human services.  In addition, the counseling minor provides students with a background in the helping professions that may serve as a strong foundation when applying to graduate programs in counseling and related fields.

No application is required to pursue a Minor in Counseling as part of an undergraduate degree. Undergraduate admissions are handled directly through University of North Texas Admissions.
