A fund in honor of Richard and Joneel Harris and to provide scholarships for graduate student majoring in higher education with a minor in research or technology in the College of Education at the University.

Requirements:

1. Meet the minimum entrance and continuing academic performance standards of the College of Education Department of Counseling, Development , and Higher Education in effect at the time of any award;
2. Enroll as a graduate student in higher education with at least 6 semester hours;
3. Emphasis will be given to students with a minor in technology or research; in the event no applicant possesses this characteristic, then students enrolling full-time in the College of Education Program at the University will be eligible for consideration.
4. If funds permit, any graduate student who is awarded the scholarship shall be eligible to continue to receive the scholarship.  Students must continue to meet all eligibility requirements set forth in this agreement during that period of time.
