The James and Ruby Leliaert Scholarship


A fund in honor or Deborah Leliaert’s parents, James (deceased) and Ruby Leliaert.  This fund is to provide scholarships for Master’s students majoring in Counselor Education in the College of Education, Department of Counseling, Development, and Higher Education at the University, and upon graduation, planning to pursue a career in a not-for-profit or public service environment.  No award is to be less than $250 semester.

Requirements:

  1. Meet the minimum entrance and continuing academic performance standards of the College of Education, Department of Counseling, Development, and Higher Education in effect at the time of any award;
  2. Maintain full-time or part-time enrollment at the University.  Donor’s intentions are such that part-time graduate students will be given first consideration;
  3. Enroll as a full-time or part-time Master’s degree seeking student majoring in Counselor Education in the College of Education, Department of Counseling, Development, and Higher Education at the University;
  4. Maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA.
