The Dwane Kingery Education Scholarship

 

A fund in honor of Dr. Burell Dwane Kingery, former Professor of Higher Education and Dean of the College of Education from 1966-1972, and  also holder of the J. C. Matthews Chair for Higher Education, and to provide scholarships for graduate students in the Higher Education Program at the University.

Requirements:

  1. Meet the minimum entrance and continuing academic performance standards of the Higher Education Program and the College of  Education in effect at the time of any award; and
  2. Enroll as a graduate student in the Higher Education Program at the University; in the event no applicant possesses this characteristic, then graduate students enrolling in the College of Education at the University will be eligible for consideration; and
  3. Maintain enrollment in six (6) or more graduate credit hours at the University during the time of any award.
