We seek to assure that candidates are able to exercise their professional voices with the confidence required to be good receivers as well as transmitters of communication and to cultivate multiple responsive proficiencies, including the habit of reflection or dialogue that lays the groundwork for teacher action, and, eventually, the ability to articulate the principles of practice that guide their decision-making in recurring situations.
