CIRA Services

The purpose of the CIRA Statistics Lab is to provide assistance to the COE community in matters relative to research design, statistical analysis, and data interpretation. Limited research / statistics tutoring services are also provided. All Lab services are offered free of charge to COE students and faculty. Students and faculty outside of the COE are also eligible for Lab services, but only to the degree that the Lab personnel are not otherwise occupied with assistance to the COE.

The CIRA staff also provide Research Orientation Facilitation services in order to support the research efforts of faculty and research staff. The services available to faculty and research staff include providing assistance with individual research logistical issues such as those related to payroll, purchasing, grant accounting, IRBs, etc. and providing awareness of on-going professional development opportunities.

The services available to graduate students include providing supports and mentoring needed to successfully complete their degree such as discussion of dissertation focus, research techniques, awareness of deadlines, tips for dissertation success, etc.
