Dr. Carol HagenMy doctorate is in early childhood education with a minor in history. In addition to directing the Child Development Laboratory, I teach early childhood education courses. I began my career as a public school kindergarten and first grade teacher in Wisconsin and have been directing the CDL since 1987. I enjoy traveling and I collect antique toys, especially Victorian tin tea sets. |

Mrs. Brenda EttredgeI work in the office of the Child Development Laboratory as the Administrative Assistant and have worked at the CDL since May, 1991. I am married to Mark and we have two sons, Matthew & James. I enjoy gardening, antiquing, and collecting old soda signs. |

Mr. Travis DavisI have taught at the Child Development Lab a little over five years. I received my B.S. in child development from the University of Central Oklahoma . My master's degree is in counseling with a specialization in play therapy. Currently I am working on my Ed. D. in early childhood education at UNT. The Child Development Lab is a wonderful place where children from all over the world can join together to begin their education. Working in an environment that is so inclusive of other cultures and people has been a very enriching experience for me personally. |

Mrs. Carrie LangfordI am a graduate of West Texas A&M with a bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary studies. I plan to get my masters degree at UNT in early childhood education. I previously worked at an emergency shelter for abused and neglected children. I have been at the CDL since March 2007 and plan on staying for quite a while! |

Ms. Caitlin BrumettMy name is Caitlin Brumett and I teach the afternoon class for the four year olds. Both of my degrees are from UNT- my B.S in Interdisciplinary Studies and my M.Ed. in Reading. I taught Head Start at the Ann Windle School for young children before coming to the CDL. This is a wonderful school and I am so happy to work here. |

| Ms. Erin FratamicoI am the teacher in the 3 and 4 year old classroom for the afternoon session. I moved to Denton in January 2009 from Freeville, New York. I have a B.S. in child and family studies with a minor in early childhood. In December 2008, I graduated with my elementary education certification as well as my M.Ed. and reading specialist certification from Mansfield University of Pennsylvania. Some of my prior experiences working with children include helping my mother in her family daycare business that she has been running for the past 23 years along with being a teacher’s aide in a Pre-K classroom last year. I have greatly enjoyed my time at the CDL so far, and cannot wait to experience all that there is to come! |

Ms. Wen-Chuan (Rita) ChangI am a doctoral student from Taiwan in early childhood education. I worked with children as a teaching assistant at an English school in Taiwan . I also worked as a child care assistant at a child development center for more than two years. I enjoy working with children and hope that some day I will find ways to provide a sound educational environment for children so that they can grow up to lead healthy lives. |

Ms. Bridget O'BrienI am a senior at UNT working towards my bachelor’s degree in child development & family Studies with professional credentials as an early intervention specialist. I plan to continue school at UNT and receive my master’s degree in counseling. I am a teacher’s assistant at the CDL and my experience in the classroom has been very rewarding. The diversity of both the staff and children makes the CDL a unique facility and ensures an environment which fosters learning and creativity – the perfect place for young children to start their education! |

Ms. Leslie HendersonI am an undergraduate student majoring in art. I adore being around the children. Working at the CDL as a lunch/nap assistant has been such an enjoyable and rewarding experience. It's a blessing being able to work with such a great staff and wonderful kids and families. |

Ms. Szu- Yu (Darlene) ChenI am a graduate student in counseling at UNT. I have a B.A. in early childhood education and have teaching certifications for kindergarten and elementary school in Taiwan. I like having the opportunity to work in a multi-cultural preschool which will help my future studies in the counseling program. I am glad that I can work at the CDL. |

Ms. Yu Jeung KimI am working on my master's degree in English as a second language at UNT. I have a certification in TESOL(Teachers of English to Speakers of other Languages.) Eventually I would like to be an english teacher. I enjoy working with children and the great staff at the CDL as a lunch assistant. Although I work only two hours a day, my experience with them has been very rewarding and enriched my life. I hope that I can help children have more fun at the CDL. | |
| Ms. Margarita RuizI moved to Denton in August 2007 after finishing my bachelor's degree in Mexico. This is my second semster at UNT as a graduate student, and my goal is to obtain a master's degree in early childhood education and the EC-6 bilingual teacher certification by the fall of 2010. I believe I can combine my prior knowledge with my early childhood education courses and contribute to the overall development of children. Iam very happy to be part of the CDL team, and Iam having a great time working, playing and learning here.

Ms. Alicia ArmstrongI am currently a freshman at UNT and I began working as an office assistant at the beginning of the 2009 Fall semester. In my spare time I love to be with friends and family, shop, watch my favourite shows, dance, and draw. Although my major is undecided at the moment I would love to become an image consultant like my idols Stacy London and Clinton Kelly from tlc's hit series "What not to wear". |
